So the group keep on trucking down the road but end up doing some midair acrobatics...huh!?
So a lot has happened, we have Sarah now playing Patric ( who may or may
not turn out to be a female), the group get to Onlo to discover some
gruesome killings and the group find it difficult to get into a tavern
to boot! Watch on....
So we finally got to play the end game of the Monster of the Week with the boys doing fairly well. For now we are shelving this and (fingers crossed) moving on to our next long term game - Yawa - played in the Castles and Crusades system. Cheers!
So, first, not developing Barra at present. Have become involved in the 'Powered by the Apocolypse Engine' series of games. We are trying out Monster of the Week, as its written by a Kiwi lad, and if we like what we see , may use this system in the Dungeon World rule set. So in that light, our first attempt at running Monster of the Week. I thought the two players did really well - my efforts need improving!
So after a deadly encounter with Manticores the surviving member fo the group wanders in a southerly and easterly directionuntil she encounters our group at Allthorpe. They set off with promises of wealth and the pirates life from a half orc cleric Vaylan. On their journey Elestra and Pavel are pciked up for 'dinner' by a pair of giant eagles.. the rest of the group - To the Rescue! Enjoy
So after many delays and some confusion two of the group kick off the story by accepting a job...to track down some ancient Necromancer's hidy hole and retrieve items of significant historical interest. Here starts Rakoss the Undying...
A world heavy with the weight of time. Entering it's seventeenth
Heroic cycle, this world has seen thousands upon thousands of
generations of heroes and villians rise and fall, struggle and
overcome. Now is another turn of the wheel, a new beginning, what wonders shall be remembered
about this cycle!?
Hello and welcome. What is / will the New Year bring gaming wise? Well we have had the first game - another session of the Traveller game - this past Saturday. All present appeaared to be in high spirits and paranoia abounded - excellent!
On the KAAtooM side of things the game appears to have dropped off so I am pushing ahead with a different permutation of the D&D homerule set and setting this is a new world. Two players at the moment, hoping more will come onboard. Tuesday nights, at the moment, will see the reappearence of a superheroes game, using the Villians and Vigilants 2.1 rulset with a smattering of homeruling. New group, several new and old players all set at the end of the Silver age and beginning of the Bronze age mid sixities. Well thats it for now, pregame session for the D&D game tonight so hopefully something to share later today. Bye for now, if you are one of the lucky ones and still on holiday - Enjoy!, if not - the weekend is coming!
